Experesar wanted her in that corner where every Thursday jazz fans can find the beauty of it, that is, by their sounds. An intimate and welcoming place to finish the week and begin the final tasting notes that bring us from Barcelona, Bilbao or New York and makes it a universal beauty, feeling the swing or getting to jazz.

It is one of the berths, which is before the bridge of Calatrava, on the promenade of the Guggenheim. I love getting lost from time to time for that walk, see the tourists, people ... walking in a hurry and see the river and as Bilbao is more beautiful every day. The city has been modernized but the berth reminds me that even today, maintains that soul indestructible cast iron and malleable as old as the city itself.

I chose this place because it is a building that will disappear from the cityscape.
From the point of view of sustainability, it is worth noting the high cost of energy to be used for demolition, adding to that generated by the construction of a new work in the sun, I think that is in good condition and has many reusability.
From the standpoint of equity, is a building representative of Rationalist architecture of the Eixample in Bilbao, is the work of Diego de Basterra, who was architect of the Bizkaia Provincial Council, was one of the men who helped shape the image of city know today. Apparently, the political and financial power with real estate speculation have finally managed to be downgraded its architectural significance by the competent authorities and bodies, removing every category of legal protection, and can delete it from the everyday landscape.
Taking into account that such a set of industrial architecture, as well as being included in equity-type routes as part of the modern movement at the time was shuffled as a possibility to install there a museum of contemporary art in recent years raised the possibility for reuse to build homes, failing both ideas.
But anyway, today is unfortunately one more example of the destruction of historical memory of this city, in front of the eyes and fearless voice of all.

Detail of sculpture at the foot of the Museum of Fine Arts in Bilbao, in the park Doña Casilda, Bilbao lung and recreation area par excellence of the villa. I chose this sculpture but could have chosen any other objective of the hundreds who have this park, for me the most beautiful of Bilbao and place to stroll with your partner or just alone, is one of the pleasures of Bilbao

There are several reasons that have led me to take this picture with the magnet of beauty in the city. The Athletic club badge, club occupies a very important part for me and the city. San Mames field, known as the cathedral of football, a new field in the very near future, this old field is part of the memory of the history of the club and their city. Facade of the house located in the street Pichichi, street named after one of the great players that made history in the Athletic.

Among all the beauty in Bilbao should be noted San Mames. A place that will soon be 100 years old and who have spent hundreds of thousands of Bilbao. Some steps in which they have lived countless moments of joy, sorrow less, many hopes and many union. A site respected and loved by all @ Bilbao and is a benchmark of Bilbao in many parts of the world. And on the pitch can only defend the colors of the flag of the town a few, here is the magnet to represent everyone.

I chose this photo pontoon mill built in 1749 by Alejo de Miranda, as it was the first modern industrial facility Bizkaia, consisted of a barn, a mill and a carpenter. It was destroyed in the First Carlist War and re-enable it again in 1874 as a mill until its closure in the 20's. Today is the ikastola abusua.

Rarely does a hospital is under our eyes looking for the beauty of a city. However, this does not happen in Bilbao. Far from the mammoth and impersonal healthcare institutions in the Centennial Hospital de Basurto-Basurtuko Ospitalea, with its unique architecture, its beautiful facades combine classic and modern roofs unique in its indoor facilities. Well groomed trees and gardens invite us to a lovely spring walk. Master the methods of healing to get to the good health increases to infinity the beauty of its inhabitants and therefore the city they inhabit.

A view from the terrace of Euskalduna Jauregia. An image, a tower, a magical view of Bilbao, a moment in the history of a continually makes Bilbao itself.

Our old town over time also had to evolve, it is true that sometimes bound by our dear ria, and others by the growth of Bilbao, for one thing or another has witnessed these developments, see for example building 3 towers, the Cathedral, BBV and Iberdrola tower now, I'm sure we will see grow old town this small but beautiful city.

Pass through the county on the corner and stand Artekale do geese in this showcase is a small family practice, especially if after taking a pot on Somera:)

Nuevos lugares.

The interior of the Corn Exchange with the columns designed by Lorenzo Baraldi creates an open space of intimacy and encounter. Amid the soft shadows that the architecture of Philippe Starck has created patchwork of light illuminating the banks emerge from reading or time lost from passersby and passing scene. There is beauty in the interior of the building as there is abroad. New places.

MLA photo is a reflection of the side facade of the Church of San Antón in one of the windows in the Mercado de La Ribera. Coordinates 43.255334 -2.923480
I have chosen because the church is one of the most representative symbols of Bilbao. Sale on the shield of the town, in the arms of Athletic. When I'm out of Bilbao and come home Atxuri entering when I see the bridge of San Anton and the church and I feel at home.
The take a picture through the reflection in the window is for the Mercado de La Ribera also appear represented. And with the market the memory of hundreds of good times, memories from childhood when I accompanied my loves shopping, to this day I remain diligent in their jobs

My choice is headed for an idea rather than to a particular place. In the Doña Casilda Park I thought the beauty of the city is, in part, the very people that come and go.
Found in this park that day, a portion of all that beauty, in a family that represents the present, and of course, also the future.

Molten rock in the old town since 1857 is this hat that makes handcrafted from txapelas to elegant headgear.
Neither the floods nor the fashions seem to affect this trade which is now part of Bilbao.
Someone who dresses txapelas txikiteros heads for so long could not miss a map dedicated to the beauty of Bilbao.

The estuary of Bilbao, in its passage through the Arenal, a town vertebra in constant motion, movement reflected in waters increasingly lively as the city itself.

Europa Park is one of those places where, amid the hustle and bustle of the city, you can relax your body and senses giving a simple stroll through the winding roads

The Corn Exchange Bilbao, stands today as one of the emblematic symbols of Bilbao, where in addition to the beauty that has its interior after restoration, passersby can enjoy the outside of the stately and beautiful building, using its spaces relax on the sidewalk, sharing their areas both inside and outside the premises. Is an element of development and transformation of the city.

From the longest street in Bilbao, Zabalbide, shows two icons that represent the noble Villa Bilbao, as are the church of San Antón and the Mercado de la Ribera. Always in people's mouths, one to be represented on the shield of Bilbao and another display for many years the label's largest indoor market in Europe and being in the process of remodeling. This is my favorite spot for Liverpool, I hope yours as well.
