I chose the Arriaga theater because I think the greatest building in Bilbao. The exterior view imposes his authority with curved façade and the interior evokes the past, times of culture that are still alive. Everything about the theater tastes stale, Casco Viejo, the promenade of El Arenal, Abando station. It is a meeting place for the people of Bilbao and, without doubt, one of the most beautiful places in the town.
He elegido el teatro Arriaga porque me parece el edificio más grandioso de Bilbao. La vista exterior impone autoridad con su fachada principal curvada, y el interior evoca tiempos pasados, tiempos de cultura que aún hoy siguen vivos. Todo lo que rodea al teatro sabe a añejo, el Casco Viejo, el paseo de El Arenal, la estación de Abando. Es punto de encuentro de las gentes de Bilbao y, sin duda, uno de los lugares más bellos de la villa.
