The river and its recovery

The great buildings come and stay in the city, more or less spectacular, flashy or unique, but the river is there, has been and will be there watching it all happen.

Hay algo más típico en Bilbao que su ria?
Los grandes edificios llegan y se quedan en la ciudad, mas o menos espectaculares, llamativos o singulares, pero la ría ahí está, ha estado y estará ahí viendo todo pasar.
Ahora recuperada o en fase de, por lo menos hemos dejado de ver choronguitos y vemos de vez en cuando algún pez.
Pero ¿qué es una ciudad que viva de espaldas a su ría o río? Miremos a las grandes ciudades europeas y nos responderemos nosotros mismos.
